The Nikzad Galleria Collection white oak flooring is an engineered hardwood 3 3/4" wide with a 9/16" thickness (4mm wear layer of wood) and a square edge. It is mounted on 8-ply, cross-ply plywood backing. The adhesives used in making Galleria Collection are phenolic glue which is free from formaldehyde. The grooves on the backside of each board allow for conforming to slight irregularities in the sub-floor area and also act as heat vents where radiant heating is installed. This product can be installed over radiant heating systems.
Our American white oak is engineered for strength and durability and has the lowest formaldehyde rating possible and a high moisture resistance. The handcrafted tongue-in-groove planks conform to the highest standard. Harder than pine and many other hardwoods, oak is suitable for any room.
